Thomas Kurian Theakanath is a writer and technology professional based in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. He writes fiction in both Malayalam and English and Sevens is his first fictional work in English.

He has been a long distance runner since his college days, and he ran several marathons in America and Europe, including Boston Marathon, and the original marathon from Marathon village to Athens.
